Project Manager
Duties include managing all daily activities for a project, such as cost, schedule, methodology, procedures, personnel, vehicle, equipment and coordination of sub-consultants and suppliers. Must possess as PE or PLS in the state of Illinois and have experience working with various state and local agencies, such as IDOT, ISTHA, CTA and CDOT.
Resident Engineer
Duties include daily on-site observation of construction work, report preparation, coordination of progress meetings with the contractor and owner, management of shop drawing review process and certifying contractor payrolls. The RE will also monitor internal project budgets, review and submit monthly billings to the client, analyze and negotiate change orders and resolve contractor questions and drawing clarifications. Must be familiar with IDOT, ISTHA and CDOT policies and procedures, and have Documentation of Contract Quantities and ICORS certification. B.S. in civil engineering, or related fields and PE license is also required.
Crew Chief
Duties includes leading a crew (usually 2 or 3 people) to complete tasks such as traversing, leveling, GPS operations, collecting topography data, construction stakeout, and boundary surveys. Minimum requirements: 5 years of field surveying experience, and at least 3 years of experience as a crew chief, capable of operating total stations, data collectors, levels, GPS equipment, and other tools generally used in surveying operation. Experience in transportation related surveying and 3D laser scanner operation and a B.S. in surveying, civil engineering, or related fields as well as PLS/PE a plus. Must be familiar with IDOT, ISTHA and CDOT policies and procedures.
Construction Engineer
Duties include construction survey and inspection. Candidates should possess certifications from state agencies, such as the Documentation of Contract Quantities certification from IDOT and have experience working with various state and local agencies, such as IDOT, ISTHA, CTA and CDOT. B.S. in surveying, civil engineering, or related fields.
CAD Technician
Dynasty Group, Inc. has an immediate opening for a CAD Technician. 2-4 years of experience in Microstation/GeoPack and a BS preferred. The candidate must be organized and detailed oriented, and have the ability to work independently, while collaborating with other members on a team.
Civil Engineer
A Civil Engineer is responsible for site
development engineering including site grading, site and roadway
pavement design, utility services and extensions, stormwater management
systems, and area and roadway lighting. Three to five years of experience
is desirable. Must know AutoCAD 3D Civil or Land Desktop.
Instrument Person
An Instrument Person is a member of a survey crew who is responsible
for operating and maintaining survey instruments such as total stations,
data collectors, levels, and other surveying tools. Minimum requirements
for this position include at least 3 years of field survey experience. A
candidate must have good communication skills and be able to work in the
Chicago weather environment. Experience in transportation related surveying,
GPS operation, and 3D laser scanner operation a plus.
